In 1995, Lido2D3D started as Lops drawing agency. Before that time, founder Rob Lops worked at Amels Makkum (now De Vries Scheepsbouw Makkum).

Folkert Boermans
In 2006, Folkert Boermans joined and together they performed drawing work for large interior builders in the Netherlands. Folkert also has a background in yacht building. He was a ship’s carpenter for 5 years and made construction drawings for one year.
Pleasant collaboration
In 2008, Rob and Folkert decided to run the company together and to change the name into Lido2D3D.
Ready for the future
Since 2014, Lido2D3D is based in a beautiful own building on Franekereind in Bolsward. That is where the team expanded to 10 employees, over the years. In 2018, Rob Lops retired, making Folkert Boermans the only partner.
